Tithing is a spiritual practice given to us in Scripture. It is an act of thanksgiving and offering unto the Lord by which we give a tenth of our earnings with a heart of abundance and love. By giving, we also partake in the work of Christ's body on earth, the Christian church. Giving to the local church is the best way to use our money to benefit the world to the glory of God.
